WORCESTER, Mass. – May 14, 2019 – Assumption College President Francesco C. Cesareo, Ph.D. and Director of Athletics Jamie Marcoux are pleased to announce the hiring of Scott Faucher as the 17th head coach of the Assumption men’s basketball program. Faucher, a dynamic coach and rising star in the industry, comes to Assumption from Nichols College following a record-breaking season with the Bison.

Tom O’Connor and Lee Dicklitch assisted with the search on behalf of Snodgrass Partners. O’Connor is a former collegiate basketball player and head coach who served as athletic director at four Division I institutions. He also served as chair of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship Committee.
Dicklitch is also a former collegiate player who currently serves as Assistant Athletic Director at Butler University. He has deep NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship experience including the administrative planning and support for eight Final Fours.
