Jeff is well-known and highly-respected throughout college athletics – not only for what he accomplished as a coach, but also for his prowess and the tangible results he has delivered while working with teams and athletic departments. As CEO of Moore Leadership, Jeff helps leaders in both college sports and the corporate world build championship teams using the revolutionary Striver Quotient® Assessment Tool.

During his 23-year career at the University of Texas, Jeff’s Longhorn Women’s Tennis Teams won two NCAA Championships, appeared in two NCAA finals, advanced to the Final Four three times, reached the Elite Eight three times, and won 18 conference titles. Jeff is a member of both the Longhorn Hall of Honor and the Texas Tennis Hall of Fame. He was named National Coach of the Year and was Conference Coach of the Year 10 times. Before taking the reins at Texas, Jeff coached the men’s and women’s Tennis Teams at the University of Colorado after beginning his career coaching women’s basketball at the University of Redlands in Redlands, Calif.

Jeff served as chairperson of the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Tennis Committee and as a member of the board of directors for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). He is a member of the ITA Women’s Hall of Fame. Acknowledged as a prolific innovator, Jeff is a popular speaker and clinician.  He also has experience as a teacher, administrator, and basketball coach at all levels.  Jeff and his wife Lucy reside in Austin, Texas. They have two adult sons.
