Steve Butler has been matching talent and organizations for more than 30 years. During his career he has worked in an array of capacities related to human capital. His experience spans numerous vertical markets, which include pharmaceutical, manufacturing, transportation, chemical, coatings, engineering, finance, education management, legal and energy.
Steve has held leadership positions at Fortune 500 companies, including Honeywell, YRC Worldwide and Marion Merrell Dow/Hoechst Marion Roussel (now Sanofi-Aventis) and has also provided diverse consulting services to global companies.
He is certified in behavioral interviewing by Paul C. Green, Xerox Targeted Selection and Selection Interviewing for Managers (University of Michigan). He has shared his knowledge of the behavioral interview process with other human resource managers via stand-up training classes.
In addition, he is also certified as an analyst for Activity Vector Analysis (AVA) – a highly effective assessment system that renders behavioral profiles of individuals, identifying their natural tendencies and predicting their workplace behaviors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Central Missouri.
