Overland Park, Kan. Sept. 8, 2017 – Executive Search firm Snodgrass Partners, Inc., continues to deepen the bench of its Sports Recruiting and Consulting practice with the addition of Kathryn Statz as a Vice President of Collegiate Recruiting. Longtime advertising and sports marketing executive, Mike Goff, has also been added to Snodgrass Partners’ network of industry-leading Allied Partners.
Kathryn Statz has broad expertise in collegiate athletics
Statz has more than 25 years of experience in collegiate athletics at the campus, conference and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) levels. She most recently served as the Senior Associate Director of Athletics at DePaul University and is a former assistant athletic director for Marquette University. In these roles, she worked with the Big EAST Conference and gained wide-ranging expertise in the areas of Olympic Sports, conference championship hosting, Title IX, sexual violence and other student welfare issues.
She holds her Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School and has negotiated and drafted contracts for sports jobs including coaches’ agreements, talent contracts, facility and media contracts. She is a former NCAA investigator.

Mike Goff adds sports marketing acumen
Goff has spent his career working on both the client and agency side of the table. This unique perspective led him to form Goff + Marketing, a consultancy that offers a range of strategic services including sports marketing, sponsorship marketing and brand building. The addition of Goff further enhances the synergistic activities among a stellar lineup of Allied Partners who support Snodgrass Partners.
Before founding Goff + Marketing, he was Executive Vice President at Barkley, the largest employee-owned advertising agency in the U.S. Prior to that, he was president of Premier Sports Management where he led the company’s efforts to name, brand, position and launch the new College Football Playoff in 2013. His client partnerships at Premier included the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, NCAA, Smithfield Farmland, National Association of Basketball Coaches, Lowe’s, Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City and The University of Kansas Health Services.
